Voiced by Nolan North, Nathan Drake is the adventuring main character and protagonist of Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. He believes that he is a descendant of famous explorer Sir Francis Drake, who is believed to have not fathered children.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
During the events of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Nate searches for the lost city of El Dorado. His mentor and friend is Victor "Sully" Sullivan, who joins him on many of his adventures. During Uncharted, he meets Elena Fischer, a journalist and star of a documentary style television program. Later in the game, he develops a love/hate relationship with her.

Drake seems to amass a vast knowledge of the world around him, even showing that he can speak Indonesian in a few scenes. He is also very resourceful, making friends as well as enemies in locations all around the world.

Drake has amassed a long list of enemies during his adventures, however. His known enemies are Gabriel Roman, a rival treasure hunter whom Sully owes money, Atoq Navarro, his partner and archeologist, as well as Eddy Raja, another rival treasure hunter (from Giant Bomb).
